Counseling Services Available in Billerica
Every service below is offered at our Billerica office, and most are also available online.
Individual Counseling
Individual counseling is a one-on-one space to slow down, understand your patterns, and build skills. It is a good fit if you feel stuck, overwhelmed, or simply want to know yourself better, and you do not need a diagnosis or a crisis to start.
Anxiety and Depression Counseling
If you struggle with constant worry, panic, low mood, or a loss of motivation, our anxiety counseling and depression counseling services offer practical tools and steady support, from CBT to mindfulness to body-based regulation.
Trauma Counseling
Our trauma counseling is paced, trauma-informed, and never rushed. Depending on your needs, it may include talk therapy, Brainspotting, yoga-informed therapy, or Reiki to work with the body as well as the mind.
Couples and Family Counseling
Couples counseling helps partners rebuild trust and communicate more clearly. Family counseling helps households break repeating conflict patterns and work as a team, in whatever shape your family takes.
Teen and Kids Counseling
Our teen counseling gives adolescents (ages 14 to 18) a private, non-judgmental place to work through anxiety, mood, identity, and school stress. Our kids counseling uses play therapy, art, and CBT so younger children can process big feelings in ways that fit their age. Parents can also get support through parent coaching.
Grief, Life Transitions, and Chronic Illness
Not every hard season has a clear label. We support people through grief and loss, life transitions such as divorce, career change, or an empty nest, and the emotional weight of chronic illness.
LGBTQIA+ Affirming Counseling
We welcome and affirm all identities. Our LGBTQIA+ affirming counseling supports teens, young adults, adults, and families, including parents who want to better understand and support an LGBTQIA+ child.
College Student and Young Adult Therapy
Whether you are in school nearby or just starting your career, our young adult and college student services address stress, identity, relationships, and the pressure of figuring out what comes next.
Therapy Approaches We Use
No single method works for everyone, so our clinicians draw from several:
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT): a practical, skills-based approach that helps you notice and shift unhelpful thought and behavior patterns.
Narrative therapy: helps you separate yourself from the problem and rewrite stories that no longer fit.
Brainspotting: a focused, body-aware approach for processing trauma and stuck emotional material.
Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT): combines gentle tapping with therapeutic dialogue to calm stress responses.
Art-informed therapy: uses creative expression, with no artistic skill needed, to reach feelings that are hard to put into words.
Reiki and yoga-informed therapy: holistic practices that support nervous system regulation alongside talk therapy.
